Hey! I'm Iggy. I'm an illustrator and pop culture connoisseur living in the North East of England with my two cherished cats, Robin and Mary. I graduated with a Fine Art and Drawing BFA from the University of Oxford in 2017 and initially went on to experiment with graphic novel design in 2018 with the release of my first self-published comic 'Dark Blue'.
Although trained in traditional drawing, my curiosity in graphic poster art and design history is by no means a sidecar to my practice. They are partners in crime and result in what you see here: a combination of traditional illustrative and graphic elements that make something not quite either, but hopefully a little more mischievous than both.
I'm late-diagnosed neurodivergent (woo!), and also have synaesthesia which I think really massively impacts my work, haha. The total and utter devotion I have towards the music, film and TV I love sometimes feels overwhelmingly colourful, taking on a life of its own in my imagination - it can kind of feel like the pictures are pushing against my skull sometimes, spooky right, and I need to let them out the way they came in. That's what these posters are.
I hope you love them or, at least, that you might see a bit of what I see.
